As you may know, I was involved with the Sound of Music production. Stephanie, a bandmate from North Shore Youth Concert Band asked if I would like to take part in the musical which was going to be playing in Orewa (20mins North of where I lived). How could I refuse such an opportunity?!
The musical was being performed by the Orewa Centrestage Theatre Company. It is the local productions group based up north. I played the drum kit and other percussion instruments for the orchestra.
It was my first time in the music pit and it was quite an experience. It is really funny how I use to be where the children were, peeping down where the musicians played. Who would have thought that I would be in the other side looking up to their inquisitive faces.
